Unit 4 - Introduction to Route Planning and Driving Faults

Introduction to Driving Education Award

In-Car Training

In unit four, participants will understand how to develop route planning skills and understand the benefits of choosing various routes.  They will explore how route decisions can enhance driving competencies and decision-making abilities.  They will also develop the skill of identifying driver faults.

This will equip participants with a deeper understanding of different types of errors and the crucial link between levels of instruction and physical or verbal intervention. This will result in an ability to plan more client-centred routes/lessons.
