In unit ten, participants will better understand the importance of comprehensive record-keeping in their driving lessons. They will be introduced to assessment practices and principles to assess an individual's performance against set criteria.

Participants will learn about essential details that should be documented, providing valuable references for both students and teachers, ensuring they meet legal requirements and recommended quality assurance standards.

Who is it for?

  • For Potential Driving Instructors undertaking training or ADIs wishing to update their training

Learning Outcomes

  • You will understand the principles of effectively assessing an individual's performance against set criteria.
  • You will be able to describe and create records to create an audit trail as evidence of training, reflection and learning.
  • You will be able to describe the process that will support your compliance with GDPR.

What do you get?

  • Following the training day you can request an attendance certificate (this will count towards your 40 hours or 20 hours).
  • On completion of your online assignments you will be sent a completion certificate for Unit Ten. (You have six months to complete)
  • On completion of all thirteen units of the Introduction to Driving Education Award you will receive your full qualification certificate which is SCQF Level 5 | 25 credit points. (You have two years to complete all thirteen units)
