Unit 1 introduces participants to evaluating their own driving strengths, knowledge and abilities, with a focus on hazard prediction and the essential skills of safe driving. The unit covers commentary driving and the driving routines crucial for safe driving practice, approached from an instructor's point of view rather than simply a driver's.

Who is it for?

Potential driving instructors (PDIs) undertaking their training, or Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) seeking refresher training.
