Deliver IDEA training through your own school

IDEA partner schools deliver the Introduction to Driving Education Award in their own area, through their own business, backed by a national framework and standards.

What partnership gives you

Deliver the Level 5 award locally

Train new driving instructors through your own school, teaching the Introduction to Driving Education Award to the national IDEA standard.

Train local instructors to Level 8

The Level 8 diploma is the qualification for teaching the Level 5 award. IDEA trains instructors in your area to it, and their names go on the approved trainer register when they qualify.

Enrol your own students

Enrol a student from your partner dashboard in minutes. They receive their course access by email, and you follow their unit progress as they work.

Set your own in-car fees

Practical training is your business. You agree in-car fees directly with your students. IDEA never sets them for you.

Get found by local learners

Every partner school is listed in the public directory, with its coverage areas pinned on the UK map, so trainees in your area find you first.
