Unit 11 is a practical assessed unit. Participants complete a comprehensive evaluation that mirrors real-life teaching scenarios, demonstrating their ability to deliver a driving lesson that adheres to the established curriculum standards. Before the assessment, participants present records of student progress and their own reflective notes from previous lessons.
Who is it for?
Potential driving instructors undertaking training, or Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) wishing to refresh and update their knowledge and instructional techniques.
Learning outcomes

- 02Understand how to keep the trainer, the learner and other road users safe throughout a driving lesson
- 03Demonstrate the ability to identify, discuss and explain any driving faults that occur
- 04Develop the driving skills of the learner
