Unit 2 focuses on preparing potential driving instructors for their driving theory assessment, which calls for a comprehensive understanding of traffic rules, road signs, laws and safe driving practices. Using a variety of resources, you learn to give candidates significant support in their study. You transfer your knowledge and understanding of the theories and practices of driving, helping your potential driving instructors turn initial weaknesses into robust strengths and ensuring a well-rounded preparation for the assessment and for future teaching.

Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) who are thinking about delivering Potential Driving Instructor (PDI) training and are exploring Train the Trainer options.

Learning outcomes
