Unit 12 prepares you to introduce the benefits of continuing professional development (CPD) to your potential driving instructors and to show how it can positively affect a driver trainer's work. You learn the importance of staying up to date with industry trends, regulations, best practices and your own self-development, and how engaging in these activities enhances your teaching methods. The unit also reflects on the importance of CPD for future challenges such as changing vehicle technology, sustainability and environmental impact.

Who is it for?

Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) who are thinking about delivering Potential Driving Instructor (PDI) training and are exploring Train the Trainer options.
